I will send you a case of Bavaria. Promise. It has been widely published. Basically Bavaria ambushed a game at the SWC and slipped a goal passed Budweiser -the original beer sponsor. Well the stuff (Bud) comes in a beer bottle, but does not really resemble beer. The whole communist way that FIFA is perceived to run the World-Cup, saw these poor hot chicks arrested by some of our South-African forces that now seems to answer to FIFA. The Rapport today also mentions a guy that is in trouble for selling a product called FIFO for R21, 10c. Clever but now he is in deep shit. Rapport also refers to Hitler-Fifa. Some other FIFA oddities include.

• arresting people for wearing orange
• FIFA’s only job was really to sell the tickets! How well did that go?
• The standard of refereeing was piss poor
• A guy was distributing some political pamphlets close to the parking areas. He was also arrested. mmm…Free Speech seem to be a bit of a problem here
• The Bavaria debacle saw Bavaria sales skyrocket

At R30,00 a pop for a Budweiser at the game the issue starting attracting more and more attention online. Phillip de Wet from the Daily Maverick wrote an open letter to Budweiser thanking them for their crappy expensive beer. It seems people don’t want to drink it, and because it is so expensive there seem to be less people driving pissed.
