Sepp Blatter and Fifa – Nutsacks!

Sepp Blatter - I cannot use Twitter

I am a rugby fan. Rugby is considered backward by soccer supporters. This is not about rugby or soccer. Yes we are all glad the English were sent home, but it would have been even sweeter if it wasn’t for that dreadful mistake by the officials.

Now I have followed soccer world cup. I am enjoying it as all fellow South-Africans.

It has been spoiled for me and millions of soccer fans by FIFA. FIFA refuses to use any form of technology to assist officials in difficult decisions.

If I was a sponsor I would tell them to F@ck off. Rugby and tennis have introduced technology. Did it add to the time it takes to finish a game? A couple of minutes yes, but not as much time as it took the ref to get the players out of the linesman’s face in one of the incidents.

Sepp and the boys are getting older. Twitter and Facebook do not exist for them. When they were born, computers did not exist and the Polaroid picture was the defacto standard for capturing images.

Wake up guys. We live in the technology era. Why don’t they ban HD transmissions, those stupid moving advertising boards and even live transmissions? Technology made that possible. Technology brings the game to us morons that now nothing about it. Technology is used to teach us. The lack of the use of technology will now make me ignore this sport for another 4 years. Just out of principle, and I am not even a principled man!
